Salmon Price

The salmon price is the market price for fresh Atlantic salmon, usually quoted in Norwegian kroner per kilogram (NOK/kg). The price is determined in a global market and influenced by supply and demand, seasonal variations, exchange rates and production costs. The salmon price varies significantly throughout the year, with highest prices typically before and after summer holidays. The Nasdaq Salmon Index (NQSALMON) and Fish Pool are important reference prices.
