Feed Barge

A feed barge is a floating platform or pontoon that serves as the operations centre at a fish farm. The barge stores feed (typically 200-500 tonne capacity), houses feeding machines and control systems, and serves as a work platform for personnel. Modern feed barges are equipped with camera surveillance, sensors and automated feeding systems controlled from a central control room, often onshore.
