ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) is a remotely controlled underwater vehicle used for inspection and maintenance of net pens in the aquaculture industry. The ROV is equipped with cameras, lights and often tools for net inspection, dead fish registration and simple repairs. ROV use has increased significantly and is now standard equipment at most farm sites. ROVs reduce the need for diving operations and increase safety.
